Markus Nikolaus e Louis McGuire são dois dos meus mais queridos e próximos amigos nestes dois últimos anos de Berlimbo. Já falei muito sobre Markus aqui, e preparei uma postagem também sobre o trabalho sonoro de Louis na Modo de Usar & Co..

No melhor espírito berlinense, onde ser amigo significa colaborar e criar juntos, Markus e Louis vêm compondo juntos há algum tempo, e, assinando agora como o duo Us – lançam seu primeiro single,  intitulado Muddy Waters, pelo selo dirigido por Julien Bracht em Frankfurt, Trust. Julien foi ainda responsável pelos dois remixes.

Ouçam meus dois queridos, Markus idolatrado salve salve e o ruivo zen Louis, com suas águas cristalinamente lamacentas.

O nome do duo vem do fato de já colaborarem com Maayan Nidam no trio The Waves & Us. Como Maayan se apresenta sozinha como The Waves, os dois decidiram que juntos seriam o Us. Muito carinho para todos os envolvidos.
