Robert Storey is a visual artist who works with sculpture and installation through which video becomes both an element in the art making process and its documentation. His practice responds to and interprets everyday experience, often exploring the darker undertones of life, highlighting mental and physical hurdles which we face daily, such as death and social isolation. His work manifests human presence whose traces are constantly prominent factors in his pieces which provoke sympathy and understanding in the viewer, acknowledging a common fate with the artist. The British artist studied Fine Art in Central Saint Martins and is currently preparing his first solo exhibition. Robert Storey lives and works in London.
